I have been a student for more than 15 years now, I enjoy studying society in any form possible. It is vital to our survival that we attempt to understand things such as how people think and how to go about changing that thinking process. I am currently studying policy making, this is heavily dependent on the way that you frame a specific issue. If people know that they will gain something over others, they are more likely to vote for it. However, placing the loss in the question prior to the gain would result in a much different answer. A true understanding of the way that people operate can be helpful in enabling a proper framing of questions that could make the production of policy run much smoother. Though there is no magical method of changing the way people think, understanding the thoughts can help to produce very big changes.
